Omar holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Network Economics from the University of Paris-Panthéon-Assas. He is a member of the Centre de recherche en économie et droit (CRED) at the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas.

Omar has extensive economic expertise in network industries (transport, energy, telecommunications), competition law (litigation, mergers, damages), strategic analysis and impact studies. He assists companies and public authorities in a wide range of sectors.

Before joining TERA, Omar worked as an economist in charge of regulatory affairs for a multinational telecommunications operator, where he was involved in a number of cases in Europe and North America.
