DIGICEL is awarded 181 million euros in damages with the help of TERA’s economic assistance
DIGICEL (ex. Bouygues Telecom Caraïbe) filed a claim for reparation of the prejudices endured, and was granted conservative measures in 2004, confirmation via decision handed down by the Competition Authority regarding the legal backdrop (n°09-D-36) in 2009, and further confirmed by a ruling of the Court of Cassation in 2015.
DIGICEL was awarded 181 million euros in damages by the Paris Court of Appeals. TERA is proud to have contributed to the claimant’s success, 15 years after the initial competition procedure and with substantial compensation.
